Cal­i­for­nia Real Estate Prin­ci­ples Course

This course will cover the many top­ics under the umbrella of Cal­i­for­nia pre-license real estate law.  Sub­jects dis­cussed in this course include Cal­i­for­nia Law, Agency Issues, Land Use Reg­u­la­tions, Own­er­ship and Finance Top­ics. Other lessons include those on license appli­ca­tions, qual­i­fi­ca­tions, types of licenses, escrow accounts and reg­u­la­tions, adver­tis­ing, envi­ron­men­tal con­cerns, dis­clo­sures, dis­ci­pli­nary actions, and real estate prac­tices spe­cific to Cal­i­for­nia. This course con­tains 27 user-friendly units:

Week 1 Wednesday — March 5, 2013

  • Unit 1 — Course Intro­duc­tion, The Cal­i­for­nia License Law, and the  Cal­i­for­nia Depart­ment of Real Estate.
  • Unit 2 — Cal­i­for­nia Depart­ment of Real Estate and Licens­ing Requirements;
